Phone (3) + Android 16 + NOS 3.5

Okay. Hear me out

I know you guys are angry realising the next product launch is not Phone 3. I’ll keep it short and let you guys do the math.

So we are seeing a trend here , Nothing sticking to product launch dates. (a) series will be launched in march so we should expect the flagship Phone (3) in July ( like P1 and P2 ). Now this might not be a popular opinion but I think they made a good choice.

As we all know Google is now supposed to launch Android updates earlier than the original dates i.e May , June , July as per official website.

So when the Phone 3 launches , it will be with Android 16 with N OS 3.5. I think NOS 3.5 will bring the major AI capabilities Nothing has been cooking and (a) series launch will give them the financial boost.

I am extremely excited to see how these months will go , what are your expectations from Phone 3. Here are mine :

6.3 inch display
Better haptics
Good telephoto camera ( better than 3 a )
Software refinements
Some more thought into quick settings and app icon design

With phone 2 they won best upgraded phone award from mkbhd. I think they will hope to repeat the same this year also. So definitely it will be a upgraded hardware and software experience. Little more wait is no problem to see a well refined product from Nothing. With 6.3 inch form factor I wish they can demolish all other competitors.

It is a good time to focus on Needs and Wants. Expections are more but need to retain old devices (Nothing 1 to……). NOTHING 1 WAS THE BENCHMARK FOR THE NOTING EVOLUTION.

I think you need to focus more on the software and less on hardware. Today, there are still basic problems such as very low sound volume in tones and notifications, as well as the bug that automatically silences notifications.
The Bluetooth connection remains a mystery on this phone, having to put it in pairing mode every time you want to connect with certain previously linked devices. (Nothing Phone 2 OS 3.0)

Animatorakash Definitely! They are a software first company. Rest assured. I’ll keep my Phone 2 for a while even after 3 comes out. We will at least get the updates upto NOs 4

Dim.9400 or 8 elite with better TSR (480 should do) - thats all that is missing tbh among other stuff like camera algorithms, custom fonts (not themes),and thats basically it. Literally nothing else
