First charging not working and quick battery drain issue after 2.0.4 update in nothing phone 2…plz fix

Yesterday i faced the sturred and lag in Instagram. this type of lag in any was not observed in OS v 2.0.3

Please fix the battery drain and the screen issues! Unresponsive and ghosting screen… pretty often. I barely can use the phone with this issues

I’ve been getting over 10 hours SOT, and looking at the comments, I think I will hold off on updating to 2.0.4 for now.

      Battery life has decreased

7+ hours of SOT with 15-20% left to 6+ hours of SOT with 10-15% left

      Performance throttling

form stable 60fps to 50-60 fps on BGMI / PUBG on the same graphic settings.

      Lag in the UI

seeing some framedrops while scrolling, going back to another page in certain apps, pulling down the notification bar when inside apps

      Speakers

      stereo not working properly

      Camera

      still need improvements

need an option to turn on/off HDR

atleast bring front camera 4k 30fps

sometimes the picture taken is not saved to the gallery

      Fingerprint scanner

the ring to show where the fingerprint scanner is, not turning on when picking up the phone after locking it.

Has anybody else faced this issues?

other than all this, it is a great phone, very fast, smooth, snappy, build quality is very good, love the symmetrical bezels, love the overall nothing vibes. I know that this phone can be even better, hope nothing will make it.

Nothing Tech confirms that there’s gonna be one more update for phone(2).

When I listen to music via files audio after around 15 minutes music stops as well as shutting down files app for no reason.

To optimize battery performance, it is advisable to fully deplete the battery to 0% and subsequently conduct a thorough recharge until it reaches 100%. In certain exceptional cases, factory resets can also prove to be beneficial.

To enhance RAM management on Android version A13 NOS 2.0.4, follow these steps:

            1. Enable Developer options.

            2. Navigate to “Suspend Execution for cached apps” and set it to “disabled.”

            3. Reboot your device as a workaround.

Additionally, ensure that your desired app is configured for unrestricted battery usage; failing to do so might result in the app being terminated almost instantly. These adjustments are expected to improve RAM management, allowing background apps to remain active for longer periods. The current RAM management on Android A13 NOS 2.0.4 can be quite aggressive, but there is hope for future updates to optimize memory usage and prolong the lifespan of background applications.
