Hello, Snapdragon!
What is a NPU
TanmaaySubirBajaj Non Performing Unit
Glyph and snapdragon will love each other internally .
How does his compare to the phone 2 chip?
I wana ask one more thing plz nothing device launched with snapdragon processor.. not even higher segment but (a) model or mini model… this processor helps to upgrade more and more time…. And some quality maintain camera like Samsung.
Hello Rob,
Is there a way in which the phone 2A users could upgrade to phone 3A ( buy paying whatever additional cost) ? Much like the apple ecosystem.
If this is possible, I myself would love to replace my device from 2A to 3A and get myself the latest one from the best “Nothing”.
sheldon. let me ask you one question: do you believe that a quad-core CPU can perform better than an octa-core CPU? If you don’t believe it I can assure you that having more cores available doesn’t guarantee more performance. The same thing happens with clock speed. A well designed/optimised 2.5 GHz CPU, paired with fast memory and more efficient cache, can easily outperform a 3.0 GHz CPU or even a 3.2 GHz unit. Times have changed and there are so many things to consider when designing processors…

anuppandey sorry but I don’t understand what question(s) you’re asking. Can you rephrase please?
TanmaaySubirBajaj it’s a Neural Processing Unit. Basically NPUs take care of AI related tasks and processing. It’s like an AI accelerator on a CPU.
Rob I’ll probably skip 3A since I just got my 2A and still loving it. I’m excited for what’s waiting for me when it’s time to replace my 2A!
Derren please solve the problem where we can use ultra wide angle lens in third party apps and use the apps in 90fps where the hardware compromises , Like snapchat is not working on 90 it is working on 60fps and not supporting the ultra wide lens and camera in lagging in third party apps solve this

I’m not convinced that the SD 7s3 is worth the extra cost. I had a 765g-powered Mi 10 youth edition with a 5x periscope which was cool.
The CMF1 with the MTK D7200 is a battery miser, which I greatly appreciate and often get more than 10h SOT between 100% and 15%. And the performance is still quite good.
I would NOT want to pay £20-50 more for a phone £169/£199 to £219/249 for that processor.

I had a 5x periscope on my last phone and would pay £50 pounds more for that option.
I just don’t find the value proposition of the (a) series phones compelling.
Especially, if the 3(a) starts at £399 or so.
Well still snapdragon 7 +gen3 is a must or atleast mediatech dimensity 8300
About time. More efficency, less power hungry, more performance (on demand), less battery capacity (more thinner and lighter phone), more additional features and hopefully…the possibility of new compact phones in the market
We have a SD Elite in the family and that 3 mm is nice. The difference between the SD7s3 and the MTK7200 or better is minimal (both 4mm) and the additional cost isn’t worth it.
SD vs MTK matters when buying a grey-market HK phone in Europe but other wise, MTK seems to surpass MTK in support.
But, meh, I don’t find the (a) series compelling from a prices performance perspective, especially with the weak camera firmware.
It’s gonna be 7s Gen 3
