Anonymous348 This is to lock the notes. The locked notes go to the vault located in the settings menu. We kept it hidden in a way that its not visible at the first glance.

looks wise soo good and perfect!

I am a greater user or notes

I make lot of notes in one note and samsung notes but I personally don’t like google notes.

and I don’t really don’t go for pro versions bcoz it’s just a notes app !

why would some one pay for notes app?

I mean google / samsung / Xiaomi this people give for free of full version and we can draw and we can put photos inside notes and keep password for note…

I mean I have many notes app which have lot of features for free.

just I like your designs but I prefer functionalities and that offer free !

Akshay_IVY6ceGfY5 They offer free coz they have other products and services that manages the cash flow. When you look at resources, time, effort and manpower put into place, companies like that can afford a lot of apps for free. For a team of 3 working individuals it’s a bit unrealistic and kind of not justified in the long run. However from a business standpoint we are very specific on what a user has to pay for. If there is a subs involved in a service, only then the app will have a subs. OR else 1 time payment is enough and that as well considering the market. In India, I wouldn’t go for anything more than 400-500 max for any kind of app.

yeah I would agree the way you explained to me… and it make sense…

Thanks and kudos to you guys and I wish all the best… and am trying out free version for now and I am way soo happy with the ideas of navigating notes…

I wish you people grow with more ideas and more stabilised developers

Mirko_ddd Hey Brother. For what it delivers, I am quite happy with it. Designs can always be subjective and considering my 1 year history in UI design, there are far far better designers out there who would do a much better job. What’s your take on this? I would love to get some good feedback and might as well use it for Noting Pro.

Akshay_IVY6ceGfY5 Thank you so much for your support.

Ali Fakhruddin I’m happy from a developer perspective (so congratulations to Aryan) but I am not really happy in terms of design honestly. Yep, it is a subjective thing, of course, but it’s kinda unconventional the navigation mixed with an action button (the bottom part, switching from notes to folders with a create note button in the middle) or the filter with work and personal stuff and tasks separated.

Mirko_ddd Being Unconventional was the first thing that struck everyone. That’s the main USP of us. But nonetheless, what do you suggest. We could use all the help.

I am not able to find a widget for the app, is it in pipeline?

The app is great, it syncs perfectly with Google Drive. Looking forward to the pro version and further development.

First off: Congrats to the first public release and thanks for your dedication creating Nothing themed apps!

I am mostly pleased with Noting Notes, however so far I can only give an initial impression and didn’t really dive too deep into it. The interface was a bit confusing at first, with the seperation between folders and all notes divided between two categories (Personal/Work), I initially looked to create new categories, but quickly realized that’s what the folders will be used for.

I think for what you are going with, creating a mostly simple and basic, not overloaded notes app, that system of two categories, folder and tasks is good enough. However I do have some suggestions or random thoughts:

                1. Folders: It would be nice being able to do some sort of further customization for the folders overview. If you just have two or three folders, that’s not an issue, but if one has five, six or even more it might be better getting some additional visual support helping you seeing at first glance what you are looking for, I am thinking about maybe colored dots or hues for the folders. Maybe even take a hint from Nothing Launchers and offer optional icons to be selected?
                2. Folders: I didn’t find an option to rename a folder, I can only delete them. Might not be the worst issue, but if you recognize a misspelled folder after adding a bunch of notes, you’d have to delete it and create a new one.
                3. Google: I get that it’s nice to have it synced with Google, as it helps you easily to backup your notes and especially migrate them when you switch to a different phone or even simply use multiple devices. But it would still be kind of nice to offer some sort of “Offline” option, which stores the data localoy with just an import/export option.
                4. Formatting: I know you’d want to keep it as simple as possible, but I am wondering if at least some basic formatting options could be helpful? I am thinking about things like bulletins, bold, underlined and italic.
                5. Locking: I think it has already been mentioned, but of course it would be convenient if we could just use the fingerprint sensor to unlock the locked notes.

I am looking forward to the Pro version and might purchase it.
