Ali Fakhruddin " Hey, I just stated what I felt and seen, and nothing about selling the data. I also positively stated that I am coming back to the app and have it installed. You liking a comment posted negatively about a criticism you couldn’t address shows how insecure you feel. Anyway the reply stated by you shows the statements I have already mentioned!
I appreciate and I also share feedbacks. So you better stay of out people’s perspectives. Naming someone idiot (now edited to dull-minded) with the irony of having an ‘iOS lover’ username on a nothing platform talks volumes about who an ‘idiot ( or dull-minded)’ actually is . Also don’t come back with your idiotic (and dull-minded) explanation to this!
Mirko_ddd Thanks!
ArifKhoja Its not about insecurity. My point is the hypocrisy of people and a sudden take on privacy when it comes from third party developers like us. You’re fine giving you data to google and other giants but find it difficult to understand why certain apps needs permissions. And when we try to explain, you play the victim card by pointing out how “Insecure” I am. Nice… Anyway, I am not someone who like fights and have seen enough of the world. So all in all, if theres something you felt wrong from my end, I apologize for that. You can enjoy the app thats made by us specially for the loving community of Nothing or use any of the 1 Billion notes app out there that arent Noting.
Congratulations, Ali. Always great to see a concept become a reality.
Ali Fakhruddin mate I may have stated incorrect data which you could have responded with facts (if not positively atleast) could have included my faith in a developer ‘open for feedbacks - if any’
Also about giving my data to Google - I felt secure sharing my data (not comparing here) as there are many other users who trust this app with their personal data.
I did not question your integrity on availability of data ever.
Anyway I’ll not refrain from admitting that my earlier perspective was wrong. I will continue to have the app and use as comfortable in the future update. However I’ll not share feedbacks for the reason of it fuming the developer and getting names that the developer seconds!
Peace out!
Ali Fakhruddin
Thank you very much since I use notes a lot. Its simple, efficient and I love the red cursor I just dont see search in note (or notes) but otherwise its great. Linking it to google account makes backup possible, which rarely note apps do have.
I have left I believe first positive review (Vojin Vidanovic)
Keep the app developed
Mirko_ddd
And which means you have easy backup-restore
I love de app
ArifKhoja Its all good bro. Also consider that sometimes we dont understand the tone, emotion or way of talking via texts. My point was only to explain you in a better way I can at that moment. We are always open for feedback, otherwise we wouldnt have been asking people a lot. I know you only meant good intentions. So all good.
VojinVidanovic Thanks mate. and Thanks to you too DarielKira
@“Ali Fakhruddin”#P142746 Hello, a great idea, looks great, please still in the language if possible.
I noticed that I did not receive a memory at the time. Not acoustically and not on the lock screen.
Greetings Dirk
LEPE Yeah me too i did it and immediately receive a bunch of spam mail of giveaways
@“Ali Fakhruddin”#P142746 would it be possible in Spanish? Thanks 🥰
the_guy_in_pink man really st*u ali and his team worked hard on this , putting baseless accusations on him isn’t fair if you have problem with signing in then you shouldn’t have signed in the app, I have not received a single spam email
pixcel25 Thanks a lot bro. Spam Emails? Not sure about it. However, we will be probably done with the new update this weekend that removes the mandatory signing in. So users can use Noting offline too.
Ali Fakhruddin I think you must introduce multiple widgets because nothing is generally known for its widget interface it will be so cool and usefull and will go really well with the nothing feel
VishalMahala_kx1YLDBUoZ We already have it in the pipeline. Its gonna be very exciting.
Ali Fakhruddin Can we recover lost data from the Notes app? I used to download the app whenever I changed to a new phone, but I can’t retrieve the notes I had saved before.
MohdZaKye Doesn’t seem to be the way. I actually thought due to the Google sign-in and Drive integration, Noting Notes would be able to sync the notes between multiple devices using the same Google account. But I just installed Noting Notes on my secondary smartphone, signed in with my Google account and didn’t get any notes. I’ve also tried syncing Google Drive on my Nothing Phone multiple times, then syncing it on my Samsung - however Noting Notes still doesn’t show a single note.
The application syncs with Google Drive, there is a folder on the drive, but only the title can be read. The text is not viewable.
MohdZaKye Its per device per account for now. We restricted it as its the LITE verison. The current app is basically a Demo of some sort. Just nothing down simple notes and 1 account only as backup. We wanted to give a sneak peak of whats coming. So we have kept all the good stuff for the later. Its not only good for the users but also for our growing studio. At the end of the day we are working without any revenue stream so we have to try and see whats working and whats not. this way we could also get enough feedback before we proceed with the pro verison. For example multi device logins, or formatting, or any other features.
