Why I can’t record system audio of the game through the game mode screen recorder sidebar?

I thought i had to enable some option to turn it on, but no there wasn’t any such option. Phone’s native screen recorder itself has option to record system sound, but the game mode recorder doesn’t.

Am i missing something?

The option to enable sound seems to be missing from the Nothing game bar. Try reporting it to the team via Settings > System > Feedback. In the mean time you can use Android’s game mode, through which you can pin the screen record shortcut and which will allow you to record audio as well.
