It is great to see camera hardware upgrades in the new Phone 3(a). But I really hope it also comes with a massive software processing upgrade. Cameras on iPhones and Google Pixels aren’t great just because of their hardware but because of the processing. I agree showing higher specs makes a large audience go nuts and buy it, but the more tech savvy people understand that a 108MP camera is not what is missing on those chinese phones but rather the processing. Even owning a Pixel 4a, it had the best camera when it was released, not just in its price range but even compared to iphones, using just a 12MP camera, because that is how good Google could process its images. Even though not exclusively spoken about in the video, i hope Nothing works actually is working on it and valuing it.
I dont want to see Nothing turn into Oneplus - the downfall started after they started focusing much more on their cheaper variants like the Nord and CE, giving up on software and trying to appeal to the audience through gimmicky features. Maybe the Phone 3 could be more nuanced in these software upgrades if 3(a) is focused at an audience that does in fact primarily value the hardware.

Also, ik you discussed how there is a very small audience for smaller phones but please, release one model, maybe a phone 3 mini. As much as ik the small form factor phone users, they dont really expect a lesser price for a smaller phone. 😬

      Waiting for the price tag … not sure I will be able to afford this one.

      I still remember YT reviewers still saying Nothing phones are not par to flagships, may be its time. Fingers crossed. Nice start with this video, high hopes 😎

            ViliusRauba yeah I was talking about the camera placement on the phone used in this video vs the camera set up they revealed in previous days(horizontal 3 camera set up) they are both drastically different. I speculate this is phone(3a) pro/plus and horizontal one is phone(3a).
