Password to switch off the mobile

Could you please explain how to configure phone 2a to prevent it from being powered off while the screen is locked?

There is no such option as of now. Many people have requested the team to add an option to have a password prompt to turn off device. Maybe it will be added soon.

If you are okay with not accessing the power menu at all, regardless of screen being locked or unlocked, you can select the “digital assistant” option for press and hold power button option from system gestures menu in settings. This will remove the power menu option entirely until you turn it back on.

I request nothing brand to please give us an update to prevent from power off .
Because when phone is stolen then the thief can’t able to power off the Nothing Phone.so that we can track there exact location.

I request Nothing team to look into this security issue. We need this feature for sure to keep our phones secure from future theft.

Problem:- My phone was stolen and he switched off my phone right after it so that I can’t locate it anyhow. He might have wiped my phone later nd I never got my phone back.

Suggestion:- NOTHING OS team, can you put an another master pin or something which shall be required to switch off any NOTHING mobile for extra and robust security. We really need that. Thank You

Don’t let the locked phone turn on aeroplane mode and and don’t let the wifi and mobile data to be turned off and ask password to turn off the phone it major issue in the case of teft please give this update I have cmf phone 1

Please include password to switch off device because somebody on 18-Aug’24 pickpocketed my phone while boarding the bus and still it has not traced just because the person who stole it was able to switch it off.

I have registered the complaint at my nearest police station but they also made fun stating that this feature rich phone is lacking with one of the best feature which it needs to have.

And I’ve been facing alot of difficulties in my day to day activities with my Nothing phone.

I hope if you include password to switch off device feature then it will help nothing community people to have an additional feature to recover their device at the time of theft. Thank you

Is there any way to enable this setting? If not, I think Nothing should include this feature in the next update, at least no one can easily powering off the phone .
