Password to switch off the mobile
palatinagavamsi I think this issue should be fixed the soonest and also some more security features should be added based on nothing theme like tracking the phone from other phone or cmf watch.
hey nothing team can u pls add a security option by which we cant access power menu on the lock screen i hope you understand .
i hope developer team can add the feature to power button to confirm by pin or fingrr print that you shutting down or restart your device because this will prevent however stole your phone to shut it down and you still have chance to locate the device and report it .. this is really important feature should be added

Hello Nothing Team, it was expected that we have get the approved switch off on our phones,,but we didn’t get it.
My phone 2 was theft 1 year ago,,and the loss was mine,of course ₹45k,
So it was necessary for your customers, that switch off action should be perform forwarding lock code,,user can switch off it’s phone after lock code approval..But it was not in the OS 3.0

Yes, I totally agree with it. I don’t know why they have missed to add this setting.

A key security feature is missing in Nothing phone 2a. Even with Android 15 and latest 3.0 OS.
Please tell us about its availability and feasibility?
NikeethJB Hey Nikeeth, Nothing heard us and the issue, Nothing OS 3.0 version has this option which enables to disable ‘Power off’, ‘Restart’, ‘Lockdown’ when the phone is locked and enables this option when the phone is unlocked either by biometric or password. This also disables anyone accessing Quick Settings.
