Password to switch off the mobile
NikeethJB Hey Nikeeth, Nothing heard us and the issue, Nothing OS 3.0 version has this option which enables to disable ‘Power off’, ‘Restart’, ‘Lockdown’ when the phone is locked and enables this option when the phone is unlocked either by biometric or password. This also disables anyone accessing Quick Settings.
Goto ‘Setting’ > ‘Lock screen’ setting > Disable ‘Quick Settings’, this will do the jo
palatinagavamsi Not only we need to turn off quick setting at screen lock, instead only for airplane and data settings and power off password can be asked from user. Such a crucial and simple security setting solution. Still nothing, didn’t worked on it. Just need to ask password from user before power off, or turning to airplane mode or turning off data. That’s it, it should be made mandatory for all the brands to have this setting.
And Nothing should also work for feature in settings to turn on/off control panel in lock screen like other cheaper phones..
-Seperate password for app lock etc..
Hey, I am a nothing phone 1 user for a very long time I have missed this security features so, can you add a feature that requires me to enter my password every time I need to shut down or restart my phone? This would work as a security measure in case of theft, as they typically try to shut down the phone first.
Users should not be able to power off their phone without unlocking it first. This would prevent unauthorized shutdowns and help in tracking lost or stolen devices.
What do you think? Would this improve security? #TechFeedback #MobileSecurity

Hey mates
WE WANT ADD ONE SECURITY FEATURE WHEN DEVICE IS SHUTDOWN OR REBOOT THATS THINGS VERIFIED BY PASSWORD. MEANS NO ONE SHUTDOWN YOUR PHONE WITHOUT YOUR PASSWORD. THATS IS MANDATORY BECAUSE THIS FEATURE IS MORE HELPFUL FROM THEFT THE PHONE.
If you like the feature to add on the nothing mobiles so support us to nothing add this feature on next update
Hey guys, I don’t know if it’s something that’s addressed before. It’s about the option to add an authentication step before switching of the device.
I changed the power button to assistant trigger and disabled the quick settings, hoping a lot people don’t know about the power menu shortcut of pressing the button combination.
I love my phone especially because I’m a designer. But my techy side keeps taunting me for not having this feature.
If it’s something that Nothing can pull off easily, Please give us an update with not much but just this feature if the others are having a same opinion.
