When the phone is locked there should not give option to turn off the phone. This as to be developed.

AAS_1981 it will only ask password for switching off and not for restarting the phone. because if someone rob your phone and if he switch off the phone it can’t be traced by phone or IMEI number (if the SIM card is removed ,at last it can also be traced by IMEI number).

So to prevent the person who have stolen your phone from Switching it off ,this feature will help where the person can’t turn it off.

As of screen unresponsive/freezing at lockscreen,there is no worry.becouse the system will not ask password for manual restarting or 3 button force restarting, because it’s simple, if someone switch off’s the phone there is no way to track the phone {so…password to switch off the phone will help} regarding of restarting the phone it will not ask the password because the phone off’s for some seconds and switch on’s by which the phone can be traced,it can be traced by all the available connection. If the phone only shutdowns how can it be traced….it’s simple

      However steals the phone just has to wrap it in tin foil until the battery drains.

          AAS_1981 its like ,if there is only 1% chance in 100% to solve a problem and 99% chance is that you can’t solve the problem then also you will try you best to do solve.

          If someone is dieing and there is only 1% chance, do you will tell the doctor to let it be or you will say try your best even if there only 1% chance.

          Like that only ,if we are getting some safety precaution less or small why not ,it is better get less or small then nothing….

              VishwanathS_ghante that’s my point, because it’s easy to isolate a mobile device from communication, having a password, for me, it’s 0% secure.

              But hey, no issue with nothing putting the shutdown password protected, as long as I can opt out of it

                Security -password required to power off features. Nothing please provide this features like other company do . because of theft issue this features is best for security.

                Network - nothing phone 2a network shifting automatically 5g to 4g . I think this bugs can fixed immediately.

                past one year this conversation is goingon but no response from the developers. simply taking the feedback, better to switch to samsung , which have better features. mistakenly bought nothing brand.

                  I should give password to power off feature to nothing because I am a realme and vivo user so I was thinking that once I should try nothing but till then I should password protect featureI should give the password to power off the feature to nothing because I am a Realme and Vivo user, so I was thinking that I should also try nothing once because it is a useful feature for us

                      I have seen in some phones have required password for power off security feature. Imagine if nothing comes with the same addition with disabled control centre amd volume button in order to prevent putting in flight mode or force shutdown from recovery mode. Hope these comes in new updates.
