Problem:- My phone was stolen and he switched off my phone right after it so that I can’t locate it anyhow. He might have wiped my phone later nd I never got my phone back.
Suggestion:- NOTHING OS team, can you put an another master pin or something which shall be required to switch off any NOTHING mobile for extra and robust security. We really need that. Thank You
Don’t let the locked phone turn on aeroplane mode and and don’t let the wifi and mobile data to be turned off and ask password to turn off the phone it major issue in the case of teft please give this update I have cmf phone 1

Please include password to switch off device because somebody on 18-Aug’24 pickpocketed my phone while boarding the bus and still it has not traced just because the person who stole it was able to switch it off.
I have registered the complaint at my nearest police station but they also made fun stating that this feature rich phone is lacking with one of the best feature which it needs to have.
And I’ve been facing alot of difficulties in my day to day activities with my Nothing phone.
I hope if you include password to switch off device feature then it will help nothing community people to have an additional feature to recover their device at the time of theft. Thank you

Is there any way to enable this setting? If not, I think Nothing should include this feature in the next update, at least no one can easily powering off the phone

Their is no option for Password required for switch off. And while lock screen we can easily access the upper notification panel, so this things need to be change as it’s privacy and security is not enough. I am using nothing phone from last month and I am requesting please in the next updates add this features as this is very helpful for the users.

Nothing should add a common feature like other Android phones i.e. Ask Password to Power off, it basically strengthens Find My Phone features and makes phone more traceable of stolen
There is an option to disable quick settings panel on lock screen.
Go to Settings -> Lock Screen -> Toggle the Quick Settings option
This disables the quick panel on lock screen, which prevents your phone from turning on Airplane Mode or anything from the lock screen!
I want to pay attention of nothing team to plzz improve your security level of phone…any one can switch off my phone with password and anyone can off my data with password…..and plz enabled app lock in it

My friend lost his NP1 yesterday within minutes of him forgetting it at a public space and he couldn’t use find my device to track it because the thief switched it off immediately. I wonder why is it so easy to switch off a phone and render it unreachable to the owner. How difficult is it to have the feature where it requires a password or pin to switch off the device which would really help in such a situation where it would be impossible for the thief to switch it off and the location would be trackable until the phone battery dies or it breaks. Please get this implemented ASAP
