A foolish brand once removed the 3.5mm jack considering it as an outdated tech. But truth Is that the alternative option (wireless audio) isn’t anywhere near wired audio. Fedup of this lossy audio option which sounds terrible for us audiophiles. We would like to see a phone with 3.5mm jack from nothing which will have a proper 24-bit or 32-bit dac inbuilt. Instead of implementing stupid CAMERA BUTTON, please come forward with actual usefull stuff. Lastly please don’t follow that brand with the name of a fruit.

I would also like the return of the 3.5mm jack, currently the only phones that have it are Sony and its questionable how much longer they intend to keep making a loss in the smartphone market before pulling the plug.
I’d like to buy a Nothing but the fact it doesn’t have a 3.5mm jack doesn’t differentiate it enough from my iPhone so I might as well just keep using that until a viable flagship maker finally breaks the mould and puts the headphone jack back.

Don’t let anyone tell you wired audio is dead! Yes, the 3.5mm jack is disappearing, but a simple USB-C adapter keeps the superior sound quality alive (costs $2). I rock wired headphones daily on my NP2 with an adapter that stays connected to the headphones.

PPan hey my friend I too use multiple dacs with my phone 2a. The issues are it’s hard to use on the go. I have to carry an extra equipment with me all the time . Another issue is when I need to connect my device to pc at the same time I need to use the wired headphone. Consider a case when I need to connect an extra device for example a mouse or joystick to my device and I need to use wired headphone also then that’s a headache situation. I edit videos in such a setup. Just because of this issue I’m not able to use headphone while editing.
yethuck 100% Agreed mate. I bought an IEM but due to the absence of 3.5mm Jack, I had to buy a dongle but there’s always a hiss sound in the dongle so I bought a Fiio JD1 Type C version and guess what the inbuilt DAC and gave a very loud Screech often and the cherry on the cake is that it worked fine on all other devices that I tested.
I loved the phone for everything for got a very big reason to hate the very same phone.
Some think 3.5mm isn’t a big deal breaker but it really is. If the next set of Nothing Phones brought a 3.5mm, I’m all in!
Nothing please look into this and please don’t give reasons.

nothingforum I came to buy my 1st Nothing [3a] because as a 4+ year Sony owner and daily driver, it really was not that good of a phone and camera. But, I hate supporting the Big 3 and the roadmap for Sony mobile is not good….their next phone is slated to be over $2K. In reference to the topic and having or not having a jack…as my daily driver and someone that has traveling quite a bit (lotsa air travel, long trips) the only reason a jack was nice when I am stuck in an airplane seat for over 4 hours or a 12 hour travel day so I did not have to worry about charging bluetooth. Sorta like wireless charging…these two features are an easy compromise for me…especially at this price point!
Definitely. One of the benefits for me was that if I got a call while working I could just unplug my headset from the laptop and plug it into my phone and keep both my hands free while talking. I hate to see the decline of the jack support, it’s like all companies are trying to create a completely sealed glass brick that’s only useful for its software and sometimes its camera.

These simple but essential little pleasures are not lacking in anything. I think he should think of the design of the phone, be able to offer with or without.
