Rob ⚡️ , The access in given for only while using the app , but even when i close the phone call app or force stop it the indicator shows up that camera is being used by phone call why does that happen

    Rob ⚡️ after making a video call on the normal phone app it says that camera is being used by phone call and there is only one way to stop it and it is to block the camera access

      In my Nothing phone 2a Camera being used by phone call" notification is showing me all the time even when I am not in a phone/video call.

      I have to manually turn off camera access every time.

      Please fix this issue.

      Same for me I already Report this Issue.
      Once I used the video call by native calling app. It always uses camera even If I’m not using the calling app.
      I need to restart the phone to fix this issue.
      But again after I used the calling app for a video call, the same thing happened.

        After making video calls, the front camera usage indicator (green light at top front right) is always on and says “camera is being used by phone call” even after ending the call and closing is phone call application completely. It is always on. Kindly help as it also makes privacy concerns if the camera is always on.

          kanteswar do check if there is any app active in the background which is using the camera. Also hope u are not misunderstanding mic usage icon during calls.

            If I use video call via phone app, It’s continue to use camera ever after call end’s and I have to manually turn off the camera permission every time.

            It’s not fixed yet 😞

            I do face the same issue even after revoking camera permission from the Phone App still the issue persists.

            I have given camera access to my dialer / phone. Even after closing the app, it still showing that my camera is being used by dialler/phone. It’s not normal right ?? Here is a SS for reference

              Same with me on np2. I just removed camera permissions from phone call app still the icon is there. Might be a bug. (After restarting it’s normal again.)
