Maybe it is just a crazy idea, but might it be possible to outsource to or to involve the community in the devolpment of LUTs for the different available cameras and lighting conditions. It could accelerate the development in the area of camera optimization. I did my Bachleor degree on LUTs in the Postproduktion process and I think there might be even more talented people in the community.

Hey mate, the new camera app allows for the application of filters, including a black-and-white mode. And, a few others which have been tuned by the Nothing team. You can also create and import presets which allow for more creativity when using the camera app.

So, in short… it looks like Nothing is heading in a similar direction as to what you’re suggesting and hopefully we see you sharing filters with the community soon.
