I don’t know what’s going with the decision making team on this product.
For me the design and innovation belief on this product is overhype.
1. Design Purpose - I don’t see connections only individual features.
As much they (the team) appreciates the symmetry. It’s useless if everything on the background is distracting
- Like the gridlines, camera bumb, uneven shapes
Might as well display the chip board on the back and appreciate the engineering design behind it. Let’s see if that appeals the market.
You want to feature this product with this design, specs, and features only to be bash by the market. It’s a phone (like a prototype) making me look like weird shit and not minimalistic enough to appreciate the design. It’s just distracting as it is, honestly 😐😫.
2. Empowering Community
Ultimately the community officials represented and voted by the majority should be part of the team and disagree when things gets overhyped, maintaining balance.
So what’s the use of community if you’re not involving us with the design making. Where the community itself is the reflection of the bigger market out there whom we want to advertise this product.
If you’re not transparent about it then why should we trust Nothing is after our best interests and just keep throwing unevenly design phones?
3. Nothing Phone 3a - Should be a pre-sequel for a better phone
I’d read a comment on one of your content video.
*“Nothing Phone 3a looks like more of a flagship than this one”
*
And I agree to that statement. A Series Phones released before and after the main product should be connected and an iteration of a better one. Like an updated patch.
Unfortunately some users have just to suck it up and try to see if it works in the name symmetry and innovation without giving it much thought and disagreements.
Let’s see if other companies, content creators, investors won’t sell you out on the competition.
