Even in navigation setting there is no circle to search thing, already updated to latest version.
📱 Nothing Phone (1) - Nothing OS V3.0-250303-1817 Changelog
Hi everyone,
I own a Nothing Phone (1). Since updating to Nothing OS 3.0, I’ve been experiencing an issue with Android Auto that I never had before. When I connect my phone to my car, it connects, and the Android Auto screen appears. However, if I tap on any app, the phone literally restarts and shows a message saying that the “LogTool” app has stopped working.
I’ve tried everything. Does anyone have a definitive solution? Clearing the Android Auto cache allows it to work once, but then it crashes ag
ain.
I restarted the phone after the update and did another restart. After the second restart, circle search was there.
Got the solution, in my case the culprit was the “Validity Expired Second SIM” inside my NP1. I wondered before the update there was no such problem.
Anyway, here is the trick, In the “SIMs” settings,
1. I have to enable the second sim (which was auto disabled after the recent update, I don’t know why).
2. then selected “Get started” from the “Set your SIM preferences”.
3. Tap “Next” > select “Mobile data” > selected the working sim > Done
Now, “Internet Data” is working & showing up but the second SIM is still disabled by the phone.
DeepSapphire I encountered a similar problem. Sometimes the mobile network disappears completely. And after restoration, the Internet does not work, even with the “4G” icon in the status bar. All this can last about 15-20 minutes.
It seems that turning on and off the flight mode helps. But I hope that this bug will be fixed in the next update.
OviGarry some other users are also facing this dunno the issue creating this but will let you know if I found any solution
SamarthNP1 alright thanks bud

So updated to this and the Feb Android Security update together with the Play March update, and am now faced with constant restarting issues, have done a hard reset all apps updated and the phone is as kuch use to me as a brick. It even rebooted without notice in recovery mode.
So unless Nothing sort this out won’t be purchasing a phone from then ever again as we were considering the new 3a to replace another phone in the family.

The Bluetooth volume is 1 tick quieter after this update, come on guys, people have hearing aids here…
I literally updated so I can use Nothing Ear 2024, I will not open them and return them if this stupid bug does not get fixed, more YouTubers should know that you guys are going against accessibility.
I updated my NP(1) to the latest version, now it’s like an entire volume bar / level / tick was taken away.
Annoying as hell, and harmful to anyone who uses earbuds as hearing aids.
Disabled and enabled absolute volume, and cleaned the Galaxy Buds Pro earbuds, and reset them twice.
I can literally hear the frequency difference between that 1 tick of volume.
Well thank to Nothing not sorting out my Phone it will be goodbye to Nothing, NEVER again will I buy an Android phone if this is how they treat you can’t be bothered to fix my phone after a Nothing Update - this is the worst customer service I have ever received, however unfortunately the brand is too big for it’s boots and doesn’t care about it’s customers to worry about a little minnow like me who has now got a phone totally unusable and resembling a brick, and as for the community I have had no guidance / assistance from that. - GOODBYE and thanks for NOTHING
Well since an Update to OS3.0 and Android Security Update 1st Feb, my phone has become unusable it’s fine if you leave it alone resemmbling a brick, but as soon as you dare to use an App, within a few moments it descends into a continuous boot loop, Nothing Tech support are not taking responsibility so guess that leaves mw with a bill for buying a new phone, and it certainly won’t be a nothing phone and will now move away from Android if this is how they treat customers, thanks for NOTHING
