Hey everyone,
I’m using a Nothing Phone 2a with Android 15 and Nothing OS 3, and I have a frustrating issue with the Quick Settings panel.
When I swipe down from the top of the screen, I get a huge notifications panel that takes up most of the space. To actually see all my Quick Settings toggles, I have to swipe down again, which feels unnecessary.
The problem is: I don’t use notifications at all—I have them disabled for most apps. So for me, this notification section is just wasted space, and I’d rather go directly to Quick Settings with a single swipe.
Is there any way to disable or hide the notifications panel when opening Quick Settings?
If there isn’t, I’d love to see a setting that allows users to customize this behavior. Some users rely heavily on notifications, but for those of us who don’t, having a direct, one-swipe access to Quick Settings would be much more convenient.
Does anyone else feel the same way? Maybe there’s a workaround or an ADB command to tweak this?
Thanks!
