CMF1_hacker I can’t find any guides on the subject. Only ‘how to use essential space’ talking about how to press the essential key.

Would love if you could share a guide on how to access essential space on NP 1 and 2

TheDocHudson that are some Reddit threads with use of ADB and some keymappers with Tasker and Automation to enable this. Look on the two Reddit fora right any the 3a was released, side load the APK and go for it 🙂

Has anyone found a way to do it? If yes then can you please provide a detailed explanation? ADB, Macrodroid, Tasker evrything that you know and how you got it working.

Spectre there’s multiple reddit threads about it with precise instructions.

CMF1_hacker and none of them gives any proper guide of how to do it. Some say it needs a keycode, some say it requires the physical button for it to work and some say it’s just not gonna work. Can you just link one post that’s actually working? Thanks for the reply.

Essential Space For CMF Phone 1 ?

If RAM is a concern, what about 8GB versions atleast.?

Or just a minimal features of Essential Space for all ?

We can atleast trigger the essential space in screenshot options or we can trigger in Quick settings too.

Can we expect atleast in Nothing OS 4.0 (Which is the last update for CMF phone 1)???

Given Carl won’t let 3a/3 users remap the key, I’d be annoyed if they let other devices use Essential Space with a different key input

Please provide essential space and other features of 3 series for phone 2 .. don’t make us feel left out as a 2 series users..

Very unlikely this will ever going to happen, they made it clear multiple times the whole Essential Space experience is tied to a dedicated button - which the NP2 doesn’t have.

I can’t stand looking at all those essential space features on nothing phone 3 when I can’t try them for myself. Nothing phone users without essential key could just press their power button twice or something to activate essential space. can you add it ?

I am a bit curious about the reason why phones without essential buttons won’t receive the app, because Essential Space is a simple application that can perform some basic tasks using deep learning models; hence, it can not be about the lack of hardware on the previous version of Nothing phones.

P.S. I am not a big fan of essential space, and it is not yet a game-changer feature.

I think we can all agree that people still rocking the nothing phone 2 deserve to have access to essential space. Especially with the new features rolling out dedicated to make it more useful on a daily basis. The Nothing Os 4 update provided close to nothing new for older models except maybe the camera presets. But getting essential space would be a huge “thank you” message for the people that trusted the brand.
