7s gen 3 is a slight upgrade from 778g+ and i dont use my mobile for photos and cameras nor for heavy gaming. occasionally i play small games just for few minutes. i am in a confusion whether take 3a pro or wait for phone 3 or 4a.

The 3a Pro has a number of benefits:

    • While the SoC is just a mild performance upgrade, it should be quite a bit more energy efficient than the old 778G+
    • Better battery life
    • The screen is much brighter and should also offer a better overall quality
    • You’ll get the periscope camera, which is far superior in terms of telephoto performance over the camera setup of your NP1
    • There won’t be any more major Android updates for NP1. The (3a) Pro will get up to Android 18
    • The Essential Space feature may or may not be useful for you
    • Better dust protection
    • Support for eSIM (although I think there are limitations for some countries)

You’d of course lose wireless charging, the aluminium frame construction and last but not least the glyph layout is simpler.

I’d say it is a decent upgrade, if just alone for the brighter screen and the telephoto camera. Keep in mind the Nothing Phone (3) will most likely be quite a bit more expensive than (3a) Pro.

I’m currently thinking about the same thing, shall i go for the nothing 3a pro or wait for the flagship.

I’m happy with the midrange phones, and paying extra for the flagship is something needs to be justified.

Still waiting for the 3a pro to he available by the end of the month to see how it feels.

It’s an upgrade for sure especially in the battery department.

Tony 1 personally not just driven by specs of the SOC as long as the software optimised so it works. Most phone’s even the midrange or budget ones work well on day to day tasks that’s what most people want

SathwikKunapuli wait for phone 3 yes phone 1 im still using yes my goal to same 3a pro but . was dope of all the time but pro tagline they must provide wirless charging and better quality frame and ufs 3.0 !
