The problem appeared ~ week ago and still persists. From time to time when I close a pop up notification or close any application a toast message appears saying “Processing notification”. It lasts for about 4-5 seconds, during that time the phone is unresponsive (the screen seems to be stuck, unable to change to a different view, open any app or perform any action). Once the message disappears, everything goes back to normal.

Has anyone faced similar issue and manage to figure out what is causing that

I have been experiencing the same issue for the past few days. Is there any solution or update regarding this issue?( Nothing phone 2a)

Resetting the phone to factory settings resolved the issue for me. However, this is not a satisfactory solution, as it requires erasing all data and reinstalling everything. The root cause of the problem should be investigated further.

    Go to accessibility timing controls then go to time to take action and set it to default
