Hey nothing, I am a OG NP1 user, I love your Phone, especially the GLYPHS but now I think the GLYPH lost its true potential use. I don’t even use them anymore, I use a Black Case. Because the essential notification glyph is kinda useless? And the Glyph with music is just gimmick we all know that. The only useful thing is charging and Essential Glyph.

It would be amazing if we could customize essential Glyphs as per our choice! Right now, we still have to flip the phone to check notifications, which kinda defeats the purpose of Flip to Glyph mode and the essential notification. If we could assign specific Glyphs—like the Camera Glyph for WhatsApp, the charging light for emails, and the top side for messages—it would be way more intuitive and useful. This would not only enhance the experience but also make the Glyph interface more practical rather than just a cool-looking feature. Hope Nothing considers this in future updates!

Anonny That’s an app problem. I’ve the same problem with an unofficial client of telegram.

WhatsApp should allow you customize the single notification, than nothing os can read on top of that.

MatteoMaiorano in my last iqoo device , i could choose specefic dm from insta or chat from whatsapp as prioroity but in NOS I cannot which is just weird lol

I understand that, but I need different apps to showcase different Glyph lights. When I’m in Flip to Glyph mode (silent mode), only one Glyph glows for all notifications. In this case, I don’t know if it’s WhatsApp, email, or something else, so I have to flip my phone to check. This is inconvenient for me and also makes the Essential Glyph kinda useless. 🙂

ta_RUN only solution for this is glyphify app, it allows you to set specefic glyph for a particular app

Nothing got famous mainly for Glyphs, so why aren’t they improving them? Since launch, they’ve only added the timer Glyph—that’s it.

Honestly, who even uses Glyphs for music or ringtones? It just feels like a gimmick now.

And I’d rather not rely on third-party apps for customization. :p

ta_RUN ppl have been asking for the integration since 2023 so they actually have no plans to add it yet. Only glyphify is the only option rn, it’s paid but very cheap and a one time purchase.

The irony! The company’s main highlight is Glyph, yet they’ve barely improved it. XD

ta_RUN Yeah but it’s android so 3rd party developer are working on it. Also the glyph progress is just limited to uber , zomato and calender lmao
