Hi all,

Recently i am not getting notification beep sound for mobile like messages, app notification, whatsapp Notification.. but ringtones and alarms sounds are working fine. What could be the reason.. pls suggest

    Check if you didn’t turn off the alert notification sound in settings, and tell more about how’s this happend, did you reset smth?

    I had all the settings and it works fine except for the notification.. alarm.. ringtone and media volume my phone hets audible.. whereas fir notifications only the glyph is on but sound is not coming.. plus i had not turned off any alerts.. because of this im unaware if SMS whatsapp msg app notification etc

    It’s hard to pinpoint the exact issue just based on the description, but I’d suggest doing a full factory reset and wiping all data to rule out any software glitches. If that still doesn’t solve the problem, it might be a hardware-related issue.
