My Experience Using a Gadgetshieldz Skin on the Nothing Phone (3a)

I recently got my hands on the Nothing Phone (3a) in Blue (12GB/256GB), and while I love the clean design, I wanted to protect it without adding bulk. I’ve always preferred skins over cases, so I decided to go with a Gadgetshieldz skin. I’ve used their skins before on other devices, and the quality has always been great.

Applying the skin was pretty straightforward. I took my time aligning it, and the precision was spot on. The texture feels premium — it adds grip without making the phone feel slippery. I went with a matte finish this time, which gives the phone a more refined look while reducing fingerprints.

So far, it’s holding up well, and I love that it maintains the original slim profile of the phone. No issues with peeling or bubbling either. Has anyone else tried skins on their Nothing Phone (3a)? Curious to hear your experiences!

Necroing, but yeah.

I got their FlexArmor Nothing Phone (3a) Pro Screen Protector screen+body (having used Zagg’s film protectors on iPhones way back), and couldn’t be happier.

My only problem is that, over the 6-8 months I’ve had it, it’s very slowly migrated to the left, so that now it’s starting to cover the front camera. Wouldn’t be that big an issue, but I only just recently noticed it, and a few days ago discovered that the bottom left corner has peeled up in my pocket and was covered with lint.

Not GadgetShieldz’ problem, really; more likely an installation issue on my part. The bummer is that I’m in North America, which means that I can’t order from GadgetShieldz directly, and I can’t find any resellers, much less one shipping to me.
