Using Essential Space to manage my trip, order of flights ticket, hotel booking and so on. One big disappointment is that AI did not get the right date and time to generate the alert, and I can not manually fix it.

Really appreciate Nothing giving us customers a voice to express. I recently purchased my first nothing phone (3 a), I have already been blown away with the quality of my new device. Undoubtedly the essential space is still half baked (i belive Nothing precisely described it as half baked), however I strong believe conceptually the essential space is a brilliant idea (Iā€™m already almost addicted to the half baked version). Pointers that can immediately take it to the next level for me

  • A pop up after each recording- with the following options, do I want a reminder (& what time /date ), if I want a summary or not,
  • An option to cancel / delete during the recording, before the memory is saved
  • A more organised library (options to create folders/ sub folders)
  • Although pretty accurate in understanding my voice - the AI being used is far from Open Aiā€™s advanced voice, will an integration with one of the large AI giants be possible (open ai, claude, perplexity for real time searches etc or maybe even deepseek?). This would take the essential space on to another level

I would really like to make full use of the Essential Space, i have been having some issues however with setting dates for events here. Is there a way to set an upcoming events without having to take a screenshot (holding the essential space button)? And does anyone have any other tips or tricks for using Essential space optimal?

Secondly,

Not sure if this is more something for OS or for Essentials, but I would like to set the language for the Essentials app to English, while keeping the Languague of the OS to another. Namely, because voice tot text in my native tongue isnā€™t very good yet.

I heard they were going to let Essential Space being able to add memos, activities, events and everything on Google Calendar. Any news or updates about this?

    I use essential space to get reminded about things or keep track of upcoming dates.

    I would love a way to also add things more in the realm of a simple note, like ā€œremember to hydrate!ā€ and have this not be attached to a date or time.

    A widget that could display these sorts of thing would be great as well.

    Thereā€™s a lot of work to do regarding the Essential Space. I would love to see integration with apps and small quality of life features (for example, selecting multiple notes and dragging them to a collection (without pressing buttons). It is still very early access but the idea has a lot of potential.

    How about making an application for android, ios and windows, so we can share data of the ai button with other devices. I sugest it sa a way to start creating an integrative ecosystem.

    Is there anyway to turn this off, or make it a double press to activate? Essential space is useful but this button as is really gets in the way. Iā€™m enjoying the phone, and I want to support a UK based company but Iā€™ve failed to pick up a couple of calls now because Iā€™ve accidentally pressed the button, if I canā€™t sort this out Iā€™m gonna have to go back to my iPhonešŸ˜­.
