SudharsonJ I had the same question in my mind and I created a thread to ask about this. One of the moderator of this community wrote to me that I should not create a thread and ask about the update. It will release when time comes. He also suggested to search the forum for an answer. So i searched the forum and found this thread 😃.

The 2a and 2a plus are mid-range smartphones. Conditional xiaomi receive 2-3 updates per year, with Nothing you want monthly 😅

ottaw for camera features, nothing is comparing themselves with Apple but why we need to take xiaomi for updates alone?

Also vivo is pushing decent updates every month - i too hold vivo v40 pro the same midrange from Vivo

Derren changed the title to Phone (2a) Plus | Update Frequency .

ottaw Redmi has a stable os with minor bugs but on the other hand nothing is not. My 2a plus having so many issues like gitters, slow charging etc and phones performance is also decreasin that’s why we want monthly update.

NavneetNegi hyper os is stable, LOL. I have 2aplus and have nothing problems 🤷

ottaw so are you saying nothing is similar to xiaomi it’s not worthy of comparison even with one plus understood.

@“Reformsonj” #P151035 Now people do not even give some updates.

Tbh 2a plus is a neglected child in the nothing series. I should have bought phone 1 tbh. Could have used it with custom rom!

Merged 5 posts from 2a plus security patch update .

        To mention it again:

Nothing doesn’t do monthly security updates, they always have done bimonthly updates. The (2a) Plus is on an evenly month cycle - February, April, June and so on. So there won’t be a March update, but instead it will get an April update.

These security updates typically get released on the second half of a month, you can roughly expect it sometime within the third and fourth weeks this month. The following update then will be released sometime in June, since - again - the security patches are bimonthly.
