Overall, I have mixed feelings about these cameras — it’s 50/50 for me.
Telephoto lens:
This is a fairly decent camera and probably the only one that seems properly tuned. The image processing felt good to me overall. The only issue is occasional focus loss, which definitely needs to be fixed and adjusted to ensure smooth and accurate operation.
Main camera:
This is the only camera that noticeably differs in color reproduction. While the telephoto and ultra-wide are somewhat consistent in terms of color, the main one delivers noticeably different tones. I also dislike the stabilization — bright areas like streetlights get all smudged when moving. There are frequent overexposures and focus issues. I constantly have to tap on the screen to adjust focus manually. The processing on this camera is overly soft and smudged — there’s too much noise reduction. I’d rather have a slightly noisy but detailed image than a clean yet mushy one. The trick of aggressively removing noise and then artificially sharpening the image just doesn’t work — it looks bad and shouldn’t be used.
Ultra-wide lens:
Stabilization is just as bad as on the main camera — again, bright areas like lights get smudged and jittery when moving. The noise reduction here is terrible. Please either reduce it or remove it completely — a photo with noise and details is far better than a blurry, overprocessed one.
In future updates, I would love to see improvements in the following areas:
1. Autofocus: It’s unreliable and needs serious work.
2. Overexposure: Often I have to manually tap on bright areas to stabilize the image — this should be handled automatically.
3. Image processing: Please don’t just slap on aggressive noise reduction and then add artificial sharpness. Find a better balance between clarity, detail, and natural noise levels.
4. Color consistency: The cameras currently produce noticeably different colors. This should be corrected so all lenses output consistent color tones.
5. Zoom and lens switching: These need to be much smoother. Right now, the experience is laggy and jerky — zooming in and out should feel seamless.
6. Zoom controls: They’re not very intuitive or user-friendly — and on top of that, they’re laggy and inconsistent. This whole part of the experience needs improvement.
And one more thing to add at the end:
I’d really love to see smoother video recording from these cameras. Right now, even though it’s technically 30 FPS, it feels choppy and stuttery at times. It might help to implement something like a subtle motion blur, similar to what’s used in video games — just enough to make motion feel more natural. Combined with smoother zoom and camera switching, this could really enhance the overall experience and make it feel truly fluid.
