I reset I did a factory reset a month ago to fix the notification issue and it didn’t fix it. Now it’s just been updated to the new version and everything is still the same, do you think I should try a factory reset again?

Flanagan no you shouldn’t. It’s a complete waste of time. The notifications are broken. That’s a fact. Either get used to that. Or sell this garbage and get a new phone. Anyone who claims there’s no problem with notifications simply never used anything other than WhatsApp/Telegram/SMS apps which do not have the problem. But one extends their usage and problem becomes evident with apps like chrome Facebook and so on.

The best way to fix this problem is to throw the garbage in the garbage. No point in complaining here as nobody gives an ear and it’ll never be fixed.

SauravGhosh_YSyIGtH5QM if there is something I don’t appreciate at all is people talking with a rude and disrespectful attitude.

I get notifications from much more apps than those you mentioned. When my phone is locked I get all kinds of notifications from games, banking apps, news apps, doctor appointment/health apps, parking apps, etc. For me there is nothing broken with notifications. If you come here blaming Nothing then at least mention the app list that is causing you trouble. It would be good to know if you have the phone sitting with the screen facing up or down too. There are so many things that could be interfering with it… Be polite!

mafcarvalho I could care less about how you find my tone, disrespectful, insulting or otherwise. Besides I was not even quoting you.

Furthermore, i did mention the name of the apps, and those are only the ones I personally use, and I’m certain there are many other apps as well. Maybe you cannot read. You cannot have push notifications since 3.0 was released until you manually open the apps. It has already been confirmed by many. Everything is at default setting post a factory reset. Absolutely nothing can interfere with something such as basic as this. It’s clearly a software bug which neither has been acknowledged nor fixed by Nothing. So no matter how much you try to divert the focus from the problem, it wouldn’t matter.

SauravGhosh_YSyIGtH5QM I’m sure you are the member that cannot read or interpret basic English. The post I replied to had the list of apps you don’t have issues with. I asked for a list of the apps that you don’t get notified about. I don’t need to open any app to get pending notifications. This is my experience.

Many other people have also told they have problems with their screens at low brightness levels and I don’t. I even proved it by taking photos and posting them.

What seems to be causing some bugs on people’s phones are their users. This is not my first phone. I use Android since v1.6 on the HTC Tattoo. Instead of coming to the community with total disregard for the other users why don’t you report the issues the way they should be reported?

hotspot doesn’t work properly. sometime doesn’t show at all. And importantly, battery is draining very much and mobile network fluctuates from 5g to 4g frequently. It wasn’t before.

The new Nothing phone 2a update moved “fingerprint haptic” into the more generic “touch feedback”, please either reverse this decision or add a specific toggle for ONLY fingerprint haptic, I do not want, nor do I use haptic anywhere else on my device EXCEPT for fingerprint input.

Honestly, it feels as though this change was not actually thought about. It was great as it was and now you’ve ruined it.

I live in Korea. I still have issues with the hotspot feature. When the phone’s screen is off, the connected device’s internet speed is slow or it doesn’t connect at all. This problem started after the Nothing OS 3.0 update.

Great update! The phone has never lagged, the battery holds up normally, notifications come immediately, disabling vibration when unlocking is the best thing that has happened with Nothing os in the last six months. For me. I don’t understand why Nothing doesn’t fix the green tint by simply making it truly black. And for some reason, the settings interface became with blue text.

SauravGhosh_YSyIGtH5QM it seems the only person embarrassing himself is you by accusing me of being paid (I assume by Nothing) to spread “lies”. I would advise you to tread lightly. If you don’t want to end up with a lawsuit just keep your defamatory thoughts inside your head.

Great update. Best so far. Notifications are received almost instantly and scheduled apps actually stay awake and do their thing, respecting battery settings. The security of power off unlock is much needed and welcome.

After an update for 3 days experience chipset is more aggressive and getting hotter when you’ve been doing something on your phone even though the environment is not that hot. When i use social media or playing non intensive game the chip set is getting hot, not like before the update came thru. I think march update causing the chipset gets more aggressive that’s why there’s a unusual power consumption. I hope they fix this on as soon as possible.
