Yesterday was an absolute blast! We had the chance to be part of the Nothing Phone 3(a) launch event at the Sofitel Obelisk Hotel in Dubai, and let me tell you, the vibe was incredible. The moment I walked in, I immediately felt at home even though I didn’t know a single person there. That’s what the Nothing Community is all about. It’s all about making you feel like you belong, even if you’re a total stranger.

The event was packed with VIPs, partners, and distributors from all over the Middle East. Hosted by the amazing Khaled Al Ameri, we got to hear from some key people who walked us through the exciting features, specs, and everything else the Phone 3(a) has to offer.

And guess what? I got to have a quick chat with Akis, the only familiar face in the crowd! I congratulated him, and he was super grateful, thanking us for all the love and support for the brand and community. After the presentation, while everyone else headed for the buffet, Anu (our co-founder at HBS) and I decided to dive straight into exploring the Phone 3(a).

First impressions? WOW. This thing is a total game-changer. It’s a huge upgrade from the previous models, not just in hardware but also in software. It’s even wider than the Phone 2, and despite the camera bump, it stays totally stable on the table, huge relief! And the best part? Nothing went all out with the package. For AED 1750, you get the Phone 3(a) Pro, plus a CMF watch and earbuds. How awesome is that?

Overall, the event was amazing, and we had an awesome time. Huge thanks to the Nothing team, especially Natalie, Akis, and the Dubai Team for making us feel like we were truly at home. What an experience!

P.S. I missed Carl, Rob and Natalie at the event, but who knows may be at the launch of Phone 3.
