Hey everyone,

I recently updated my Nothing Phone (2) to Nothing OS 3.0, and since the update, I’m facing a frustrating issue with my images.

I can only see photos taken with my camera in the files directory, but all other images are missing.
Images received via WhatsApp are not visible, even though they were accessible before.
I previously transferred photos from another phone, and those have also disappeared.
I’ve checked all settings but can’t figure out a solution.

Additionally, when trying to attach media in WhatsApp, I can’t find the WhatsApp folder. Instead, I only see albums created for individual contacts and can only select images from there.

Has anyone else faced this issue or found a fix? Would really appreciate any guidance or troubleshooting tips.

I own a Nothing Phone 2 and it was absolutely stellar..well….until the Nothing 3.0 updates post which Wifi connectivity has been frustratingly unstable, Please consider rolling back because it worked perfectly I was truly happy with the phone

Hi Everyone, i have a nothing phone 2 that has been working perfectly until recently. i use android auto alot for my business, but recently nothing works, no voice commands or anything. ive tried new cables and also different cars so its definately my phone. also the log tool app has been crashing. this has all happened with the latest updates. need some advice!!

ChizepticoN have you found a fix for this or have we seen any updates to a possible fix coming via firmware or patch?

The mistouch is more in this current latest update

The second issue is the navigation bar doesn’t function in some cases, need to restart the phone then it’s normal

The third issue is overheating, the phone just gets warm when instagram or twitter is used

The fourth issue is overnight battery draining, the overnight battery drain is pathetic

The last thing is battery optimisation, I used get 9-8hrs of SOT with moderate to light use, I’m getting 6-5hrs of SOT

Anyone else having issues with Android Auto after upgrading to Nothing 3.0. Getting device not compatible messages and if my phone does connect the moment I interact with Android Auto the phone reboots itself.

Following the recent update, I am experiencing issues with Wi-Fi calling. Despite having the ‘Call over Wi-Fi’ option enabled in the settings, I am facing two main problems:

1. I often miss calls when I am in an area with weak network coverage.

2. I am unable to hear the other person’s voice during calls.

However, when I disconnect from Wi-Fi, the calls work perfectly fine.

OS : Android 15 (Nothing OS 3.0)

SurpreetSingh Disable Wifi calling or set calls over carrier on priority. It was not reliable ever and better not to rely on it.

Thank you, however wifi calling worked perfectly for me for 10 months, it’s only after the latest updates I started facing trouble.

nothing_tractor517 Hi there has been an update to android auto. but that hasnt solved the issue. i really need to fix this as it will affect my ability to do business when im driving. should i just wipe my phone and start again?

Hey Nothing Team,

When can we expect the new updates for the Nothing Stock application, as mentioned in the commercial provided by Nothing’s official channels? Specifically:

1. The stable update for Nothing Gallery that opens the Gallery with the Camera, instead of Google Photos.

2. The new Weather application that is supposed to launch with OS 3.

I hope the team will roll these out by the end of February. 🫠

Abhinav I think it will happen at the end of February or on the day of the presentation of Nothing Phone 3(a)

ChizepticoN I am in the same situation and just sent a video into support on what is happening anytime I try to interact with Android Auto when it does connect. So here is hoping a patch or update is around the corner from Nothing.

ChizepticoN Hi Everyone, hope you can see this as i have managed to fix my problems. albeit with a full factory reset. im guessing that something is botched in the update, but everything now with the factory reset is working as intended!!! hope this helps someone.

Call ends before it rings. It has done this occasionally but initially I thought is due to the network. Now, more or less it does it all the time, especially after update. Please help.
