Can we add custom textures in the dark grey areas of the template ?

Will we be allowed to change the colour of the translucent back cover?

    There is a template a few messages up and in the brief. The rear glass cannot be changed.

      Hi everyone! We’re so glad to see such enthusiasm for the project this year. A couple of top tips on your submission:

      • Do read the brief very thoroughly before submitting your design. There are a lot of useful tips and bits of information there!
      • Don’t rush your submission. You have just under one month before the deadline, which leaves plenty of time for research, ideation and execution.
      • Do include references (which could take the form of a moodboard, for example) in your submission of things that have inspired your submission. Don’t just submit your final idea! We’re looking for a full picture of not only your idea, but how you arrived at the idea.
      • Do include a short bio about yourself, so we can get to know you.

        Just out of curiosity. Is there any chance we will get color tinted icons in Nothing Icon Pack in the future? They are clearly visible in the banner above. Completely monochrome doesn’t cut it in real life.

          Radek W they’re shown in the banner above as an example because creating a UI element is one of the briefs. We have had a special icon pack before for the special edition.

              AjayPrabithPrakash we could add a dot matrix screen on it for clock, notification and co. I’m Sure the phone will be thiger in this case, but it could be one level with the camera

                  Hi everyone! Is there any way to see the community submissions for last year’s designs as a way to get some inspo? Thanks 🙂

                    This was my first submission for last year’s Community edition project and also my first post here.

                    I won’t be able to participate in all stages this time around due to the shortened timeline. However, I still believe in the retro future aesthetic perhaps even more so with the 3a.

                    If someone is looking for ideas. Feel free to be inspired by my work here, refine it and add your own take to it for the current community edition project (3a).

                      Derren Would be lovely to have something like that as an option someday for all Nothing models.
