Weather app location

Hey I’m using nothing phone 2 and the weather app location is worng I have located the problem the weather provides AccuWeather location is worng is there a way to change to provide or override the location (I know I can choose my city manually but it’s doesn’t help when I’m traveling)

You can set a specific location by heading to the menu in the top left corner of the weather app, pressing the + button and setting your desired location.

If you’re experiencing issues regarding the My Location accuracy or the app itself then i recommend providing feedback via the OS Feedback Form or heading to Settings > System > Feedback.

Derren one big issue with the weather app is that needs active location access. It won’t show current weather for previously detected location or the list of places added. This is a big disappointment.

SenorBali For my location, it should keep on showing the data for previously detected location unless change is detected. It should not bound that the location sharing is always on. The widget also needs to be updated similarly and widget stack should be able to show all cities one by one when swiped on.currently it only shows 2 Locations. I don’t want to keep my location detection always on as it’s my privacy and also drains the battery faster.

I hope they fix this with Accu or make an option to switch to another regional weather app into the weather widget. I do have other weather apps and their widgets, but i kinda like the nothing weather widget more, it’s just Accu that is quite inaccurate with the location and the temperature vs other weather apps, minor thing, but i hope they can fix that, i have sent a few feed back messages!

I solved the problem by selecting the option approximate( Location )instead of selecting precise( Location).
