Hi,
I have just received my 3a and all apps seem to be working except WhatsApp. I have reinstalled and updated. Cleared the cache etc. But the app does not get past the ,‘waiting to initialize’ screen.
Any and all advice welcome.

CiaranOliver Hey mate, are you trying to restore from backup from WhatsApp? Or, are you starting a fresh?

hrry moving from an iPhone. So not a backup as such. I did have the two phones tethered for a while. But have deleted the app multiple times and no joy.
Have decided a factory reset was the only answer. There must have been some corrupted files in the process. All fixed.
just had my 3a delivered and having exactly the same issue! so frustrating
same yesterday i got my nothing 3a and tried moving all backup through usb cable and WhatsApp chats this app is stuck in initializing 3 times i have tried it doesn’t work now even I tried doing it without chats backup its still stuck at initializing what to do ? my all works and business are done with what’s app plz help !!!
I am facing the same issue with my new Nothing phone 3a. It is very frustrating since I have tried everything available online to resolve this but the issue still persists.
Any help would be greatly appreciated
