What is actually backed up from Nothing apps?

Sorry if this question is obvious but I’m coming from an iPhone (been a iPhone user since the 3G) that has just switched for the first time to Android thanks to NP 3a 😍

I’m curious what app content and settings are included in the system backup from Nothing OS apps?

For example does the Gallery and Essential Space gets collections/photos get backed up?

I’m only asking as I don’t want to put my life so to speak in to these apps, only to find if I do a system restore I loose all content in those apps then I’ll just use alternatives but loving the Essential Space.

AFAIK no app data is backed up unless the app itself has some kind of cloud sync like Google apps… arguably the worst thing about Android. With iOS you can backup and restore your phone like you’ve cloned it

Anonymous784 cheers, I may well try a reset and see what happens before I start using it in anger 🤣 that’s what I do like with IOS, was hoping that the system backup and restore does restore none synced data.
