DragonRehman Apple has its own iOS, while Nothing relies on Android, which they don’t fully control or optimize. That’s why comparing Nothing to the iPhone or promoting themselves as a premium competitor doesn’t really make sense. Apple delivers a true premium experience because their hardware, software(Own IOS) and ecosystem are all tightly integrated.
Meanwhile, Nothing is pushing its phones as ‘premium’ while still missing core software features like their own dialer, messaging app, or even a proper Nothing File Manager. On top the ideas like to lock more features behind paid ‘premium’ options - which feels unnecessary when their ecosystem isn’t even mature yet.
At this point, it honestly feels like Nothing is becoming more focused on marketing and sales than on actual software development. It comes across as greedy when the basics aren’t fully delivered. If Nothing truly wants to compete at a premium level, they need to invest in building a stronger, and building their own OS to get more complete software ecosystem - not just rely on hype.
