Hi all,

Recent bought Nothing 3a pro and enjoying nothing os very much.

But there is a glitch with auto-brightness functionality. If I set auto-brightness to a particular brightness level (manually changing brightness level with the slider while auto-brightness is on), when I go to some similar ambient-light environment, auto-brightness should set my preferred screen-brightness value not the factory ones. This works fine until I restart my phone or just turn off auto-brightness for once. Then auto-brightness forgets all my preferred settings and starts applying the factory defaults brightness level. I have left adaptive brightness on inside settings app. I have previously used pixel and there if I turn on adaptive brightness auto-brightness learns my usage patterns and remembers it. Doesn’t matter if I restart my phone or turn auto-brightness off for once. If I turn on auto-brightness again it will act according to my training preference. Is this a glitch or a missing feature of Nothing os?

I have also attached a video for the same.

Mine was the adaptive brightness was being slow when i was unlocking the screen the screen does not bright immediately it will take seconds to brighten my screen.

SoumyadipHaldar Hey! I am quite certain of the fact that most phones, including Nothing, dont have learning capabilities when it comes to brightness levels (would be great tho). It will always return to the default settings when you encounter another brightness level.

Not sure if this would help:

    • Go to Settings: Open the Settings app on your Android device.

    • Navigate to Apps: Tap on “Apps” or “Apps & notifications”.

    • See All Apps: Tap on “See all apps” or “All apps”.

    • Find Device Health Services: Search for or scroll down to “Device Health Services” (you need to tap on the 3 dots in the top right hand corner and tap on “Show System”)

    • Storage & Cache: Tap on “Storage & cache”.

    • Manage Space: Tap on “Clear Storage”.

    • Reset Adaptive Brightness: Tap on “Reset adaptive brightness”.

    • Confirm: Select “OK” to confirm and save your choice.

The brightness of my cell phone drops from 100 to 96, with all functions disabled. Is this happening to anyone else or is it normal?
