Hi, im experimenting with way’s to add 3d print accesories on the 3a pro, the ring bump is a nice base.
you can find the model on printables. I think it can be a good spot to add usefull accesories.

I used a basic 3d scaled model that i can provide if someone is interested.
By trying to go allong with the design language i appreciated even more the dimentions and design of the phone.

jack218 Thanks for sharing this, looks cool!

Friction fit or areyou getting some felt/rubber in there for extra grip onto the camera bump?

Rob ⚡️ it’s just friction fit for know I made it quite tight with extra thin lines that create a 0.05mm airgap the 0.10mm tolerance that I tried before was to loose.

Nice accessory, adds protection, a bit more grip, and just makes for a nice decoration.

I would prefer it if I had a smooth build plate but the fit it quite good, spins if you try but doesn’t fall off under normal use.

Derren Very cool to see on a grey version. I think it’s nice to go with the texture “constrain” that’s why i pushed in this direction. Thanks for the pictures !
I tried only PC filament maybe the springiness or the printer change the fit.

I also printed this 😄 decided to try out glow in the dark filament for a cool effect

If I were to use this permanently I think I might stick a small strip of double sided tape to the underside to keep it in place better

Very nice design though, thanks for sharing!

          great idea!
i’m personally looking for a case spigen type. but i could only find an amazon type, quite suitable.

jack218 Decent! It has fallen off once but I think I caught it with my finger. I also printed at 0.2mm so perhaps I need to go to 0.1 as you suggest for a more snug fit

adbo i will try it soon in 0.2 and make biger tabs inside witch could be trimedeasely.

Is it possible to make a ultra thin Case with a 3D Printer? I find only thick cases
