I believe one of the major advantages that the Nothing Ear (2) offers is the ability to switch between different devices. While it is true that the earbuds can only be connected simultaneously to two devices, having more than two devices—such as a PC, a mobile phone, and a television—can make switching somewhat cumbersome.
What do you think about adding an API to Siri or Google Assistant that allows users to specify which device to connect to via a shortcut or to set up different modes? For example, when working, you could instruct the system to connect to your work computer and phone, but when you want to relax at home by playing games or watching a movie, you could say, “Siri, Cinema,” and it would automatically switch to the devices pre-configured in the shortcut.
At first glance, this does not seem entirely unfeasible, considering that similar functionality is possible with ChatGPT, which allows you to open and interact with a chat by invoking a shortcut. I leave the discussion open to explore whether such an implementation could be realized.
