Mods I beg you: Please don’t merge into the master phone 3 post until there’s a definitive answer.
Do any of the 3 line have DSDA (dual SIM dual active)?
I know that they have dual SIM and it seems like they can both be nano or both be esim or a mix. I’ve also seen that theirs dual 5G though that seems to be about speed for a single connection.
I want to know can I receive calls on two different numbers at the same time? If I’m in a call on one will the other interrupt me and I can hold the first or will it send to voicemail and I might not know until I hang up?
Can I be in a zoom or teams call using mobile data and not drop out when a spam number phones me? Can I browse the web using mobile data on one SIM while having a conversation on the other?
Can I have seamless fail over for internet between networks when coverage from one is spotty? Am I forced to select my one network for all mobile data or will the phone automatically realise one connection is being slow, limited to 3/4G or disconnected and use the other (or can I use tools to do that eg connectify)?
Are there two mobile antenna in the phone to enable this functionality? Or is it all software defined radio with a single antenna for ⅔/4/5G mobile signals?
I want to know if the nothing phone line is dual SIM dual active or dual SIM dual standby because I can’t get a straight answer anywhere in the specs or from the usual googling. And it will make a difference between if I buy a new phone this month or wait until I run my current phone into the ground.
I have a 2 and have since they were new, it’s DSDS and I make it work but it’s also irritating.
I want to know the answer without going to Soho and asking in person. I’m not the only person to ask, the question has been buried in the master thread at least once now and no one has answered.
So not only was this merged it was merged into a thread about the wrong phone. What are the moderation team doing here?
