Fr4nKB My reply didn’t want to go through for some reason, but today I reinstalled the app, and it works just fine 🙂

@“FR4NKB”#P157706 What is fixed? I cannot select two LEDs and only select the extended functions such as breathing or pingpong. I have already deleted and reinstalled, but the result remains the same.

    Greetings Kai

Ps.: Phone 2 with current software

Congrats for the new release!! I am already enjoying it on my phone (2) 🙂)

After playing with it some days, I noticed something… I love using the glyph timer from the NOS. Sadly, when using it, extentials don’t show up (something to be totally expected).

      So… Another suggestion coming. I was wondering…

Would it be possible to make it so that the extentials show for 5 seconds every 30 seconds, and when they are not showing is the glyph timer the active glyph feature?

Even better… Would it be possible to let the user configure the time showing the extential notifications and how long should it take for that cycle to repeat? (I may want it to show for 10 seconds every 20 seconds while you may want a 1 second blip every 30 seconds while having the glyph timer on).

And maybe, whenever you receive a new notification this cycle restarts (Not the time set on the Glyph timer, but the 30 seconds cycle between the extential lights showing again). This way, when you receive a new notification, the extentials show up, then the glyph timer shows and stays on until 30 seconds later, when the extentials show for another 5 seconds.

      Can the magic happen? 😃

Also, a piece of feedback. I am noticing two issues, both have to do with battery alarms:

      1) I set them to have no sound, but they do not activate the glyph animation, so they seem to not be working when that setting is on. When i set them to have sound, they work as intended.

      2) This one has to do with the low battery widget. It doesn’t seem to be working properly. Let me compare it with the charged limit widget, since that one works propperly. When it is on, it shows the red background on the icon, when I turn it off, the red dot dissapears, turning black. I visually know when it is on and off. I checked if when pressing the low battery alarm widget, it changes from on to off and viceversa, and I checked it on Glyphify settings. It does activate/deactivate the feature, but in both cases the widget shows only its appearence with the black background, as if it was deactivated even when it might be activated.

Thank you for your hard work, as always. One big hug Frank!

KaiR_hler can you please explain what do you mean by “I cannot select two LEDs and only select the extended functions”? What version of the app are you on?

davarpe Thank you so much, for both the help and support 😁

About the Glyph timer, there’s nothing I can do. Most of the Glyph features baked into the OS have priority over any third party Glyph app. Not only that, but in order to show the Glyph progress there’s always a background task that is continuosly updating the Glyph interface which cannot be paused temporarily.

        About the other two issues:

        • Both low and charged alarms? Do you have DND on?
        • Just solved, fix in next update

Again, thank you a lot for your feedback and support 😉

Since the last update to 3.0.4, I can select all glyphs again. However, only two of them have the extended functions (ping pong, wave, etc.).

          Fr4nKB

KaiR_hler That’s normal. Only those two have addressable subzones, the others can only be turned on/off as a whole.

Can you explain a bit more on the progressive essential glyphs? Does it only work for service-based apps like Lyft, Uber, Ubereats, Door dash etc .?

            @Fr4nKB

            Loving the new version! Thanks

Fr4nKB Today it seems that the charging limit worked propperly without emiting any sound (I was using ear(2) while that happened, no idea if that has any implication on the behaviour). Will check if the low battery works and come back to give more feedback. DND is off in my case.

In regards to the low battery widget, it keeps the background black on my phone, not sure if it was resolve. I checker if my app is updated, and it is update to this date.

Hope this can help! Thank you for your work! 🙂

it works with any app that posts notification with a progress bar, the progress has to be “determinate” just like when you’re downloading something from the Play Store.

Currently it doesn’t work with media players but I already found a way to make it compatible so you can visualize the progress of the song or podcast on the back of your phone 🙂

davarpe alright, in the mean time v3.0.5 has fixed the widget background so check that out!

@Fr4nKB On my Nothing Phone 2a the Charging Meter never works unless I go to Glyphify settings, turn it off and on and then plug in the charger.

                    Fr4nKB

Thanks for clarifying! I was able to test it using Google play store and works like intended.

Fr4nKB I’m on version 3.0.5, always on setting is set to OFF (I only want it to work when charger is plugged in, and yes post notification permission is granted.

@Fr4nKB How can I install Glyphify? I am from Russia and therefore cannot pay in PlayStore. i really need this i recently bought 2a and i want to use glyphs🙏

Fr4nKB Hey, are you planning to add things like the glyph compass, user-made permanent animations running on the interface and that kind of stuff? I think it would be a great addition

Fr4nKB both issues were successfully solved 🙂 thank you Frank!!

What should those who do not have the app available in their country do?
