The climate NOTHING is inspired by an Argentinian souvenir called “The climate thing” or in Spanish “El cosito del clima”. The climate thing changes colors based on the weather, when sunny is blue, when cloudy is purple and when rainy is pink
The way it works is due to its chemical composition, the CoCl2 (Cobalt Chloride) changes colors based on the humidity in the air.

The idea is nice, but how will theCobalt Chloride react to the humidity if its sealed behind the glasss ?
Hi!, that´s a good question I asked myself many times but answered quickly. The nothing phone (3a) has no IP rating so it´s not completely sealed.

@IvanLlaneza This is a great idea! I like the use of chemicals to change the colour of the phone back based on the humidity of the weather. Is this chemical safe though for humans to use, and to be used in the wider world without any health hazards?

Sure, these souvenirs are sealed so no one can have direct contact with the chemical, also this is a concept on how could react, it can be also done with humidity reactive ink and other non toxic chemicals and colors
