Recently, my phone broke after 7 years. Now, I’m thinking of buying a phone from Nothing because of the reviews I’ve seen and how beautiful the Nothing OS is. Should I buy the CMF phone 1 or just go with the 3a?

I just do the usual phone stuff, messaging, social media, web surfing, taking pictures of random things, and school stuff. also, I’m the type of person who doesn’t upgrade their phone often I replace a phone when it literally breaks so a future-proof phone

            Phone 3a would be a better choice if you prioritize future-proofing.

            Mori_x if you searching for phone that you easly can change parts so it cmf phone 1, if you searching for more os updates is phone 3a.

              4. Camera issues ( focus new mobile only )

              5. Sound quality issues like no dolby sound

              6. No customer service support

              7. Not release monthly security updates

                Would suggest to wait for cmf phone 2 , cmf phone 1 doesn’t have a wide angle camera, otherwise would suggest to go for Nothing phone 3a (telephoto lens + wide angle).

                If you got budget constraints I would pick CMF (value for money), and if you can extend your budget Nothing phone 3a.

                wait for the CMF Phone 2. otherwise, go for the CMF Phone 1, but keep in mind, you’ll now only get one year of Android updates and two additional years of security updates. So, it’s not exactly future-proof. That said, it’s still much better than the Phone 3a in that price segment. the processing and RAM management on the CMF Phone 1 are significantly better than on the 3a. The 3a is buggy, has display issues, and even heats up during simple tasks like watching a live match. I still don’t understand why no one is talking about it.

                Sure, the design of the 3a is insanely good, but beyond that, it feels like it’s still in beta.

                I am also thinking of changing my Realme Master Edition RMX 3353, which pass from Android 12 to 13, and it ends … Apart from the photos are not good, and I was at the price of nothing 3a. Before this, I have been in Apple for 10 years, with what for me, be supported several years and the cameras are very important. I have seen the nothing 2, 2a and the models of 3a, and I like the 3rd, but it falls short of both RAM and ROM, 8+128mg…. They are not short, the only thing my realme has good are 8+256 of memory…. Then, there is the issue of contraction, the 3rd frames are plastic, they have had reliability problems, in my realme it bend (plastic) having to change chassis and screen…. And now the battery begins to fail (fast load problems at 60W) it hurts that I do not have, like the iPhone XR I had, inhalic load, you loaded it at night at slow load and I had no problems in the same 4 years I have this.

                Do you think it is a good option for nothing 3a for daily use, no games, normal use, networks, photos and telephone … or do I look at something else? An Xiaomi Mi 14t?
