This is not something I thought would have to be flagged up on here sadly, but who are you meant to contact if you are unhappy with the behaviour of a moderator on the forum? I’m not going to say who it is, but it concerns blocking a post about something I’ve been told in an official Support email which i was asking other people if they had any further information. It was blocked simply because this moderator hadn’t heard about it. We exchanged a few messages on the subject but they have ignored my last response and my post is still blocked. So unless this is also blocked or deleted, I’d be grateful for any advice please. Again I’m really sad to be having a make this post 🙁

MarkG13 “No one wants to hear anything bad about themselves that could harm their reputation, so the moderator blocks it.”

They just want to say only good things to capture the market.

Rob ⚡️ Thank you, I would like to do that later today if possible, but I don’t know how to use the private messaging function so can you please tell me what I need to do?

MarkG13 No worries - on mobile you can click through to a users profile and in the top right press ‘…’, on desktop there is a button also in the top right of a users profile.

This forum is borderline unusable most times

You can post a very specific query and it just gets merged into a vaguely similar post so you never get a response from anybody

Presumably done to hide negative stuff

This post will be deleted soon….. 🙃

Haah this thread going to end by them Soon

But this is not about Nothing,CMF or their respective support teams. It’s simply about the behaviour of a moderator on this community forum.

To me, if a moderator has an issue with someone’s post, it’s only good manners (unless it’s something deeply aggressive or hateful) for them to send a private message to the person concerned to say what their reasons are for wanting to block or remove the post and give them a chance to respond before taking action.
