Are moon photos fake on Phone (3a) Pro?

Are they copying what samsung does when we try to capture moon on S ultra series? according to my understanding, I guess I take multiple pictures for one picture and merges it so that blur occurs.

Even i clicked the moon photo last week on Friday when it was Narali Poornima (festival in India) i was just shocked to see it. Lots of my friends said is this a image from google or something? I said no i clicked it from my 3a pro in full zoom mode. Will try to click more pics lets see is a fake or real.

It’s fake. The phone can’t see the Moon at all at 18-19x zoom but it sees it PERFECTLY CLEAR at 20x. If that’s not enough for you then there’s no help.

Well if it’s fake or not everyone need to decide it their own.

Nothing like all other companies use AI to enhance their images. At 20x zoom the ai super resolution is activated.

So yeah it’s kinda fake but everyone need to decide it on their own.

Anyone with a clear mind knows that a mobile phone cannot zoom that close to a moon… your phone recognizes the moon and ai regenerate it.

I took multiple pictures of moon using my nothing phone 2A and a clip on lens and i had to process them alot in snapseed and lightroom to get these results

I took one photo everyday till full moon and i can say that everyday i was able to het better picture because moon was getting bigger and brighter these are from march and moon is very far in first quater of the year

My conclusion was clip on lens caused issues like chromatic abbreviation and a native lens is better if i had nothing phone 3A pro i would love to try the pro mode to test its capabilities

AnshRana hey man I have a 2A as well and so far all my ventures to photograph the moon have been pretty lackluster. Can you please explain your workflow to me?

Your lens is 23mm, u didnt zoom it in, if you will then it will appear better, I did it with my 3a at 30x, in just a fraction of a second the moon became ultra clear

yes, I showed the code in another thread and will have a look again now. there’s a bunch of parameters that the AIMOON library requires to be activates (intensity, angle, zoom, etc…)

Well tbh we cannot do anything regarding to this even if u use a proper telescope to see moon u will still see it blury because of how much pollution is now in air . Well these images are processed to appeal their users so it’s not a big issue because even space agencies like NASA,ISRO etc process images of cosmic bodies . So I don’t think it’s a issue to concern about.
