In India, a in box charger is very important, because CMF is a low budget phone (talking about CMF1, maybe CMF2 would be a mid one) and that’s a very competitive range, all the companies tend to give a charger and its expected of them to do so, people often end up in shock not seeing a charger haha, also its important because close to 40%~ market share in India is occupied by Chinese brands, and these are infamous for using their proprietary charging techs, except Xiaomi, it uses QC, so most of these won’t support nothing phone and thus the consumer would complain about phone charging slowly so its needed, and most people are quite unaware of how charging technology works so.
in India the 33W charger is for around 1200 inr which is about 11 pounds and you can get it for 1000 inr too, and it goes as low as 799 during sale season, which is quite competitive, and similar price to giants such as samsung, but its also out of stock quite a lot
the 45 watt charger is 2500 inr, which is around 22 pounds, which I would say is decently priced, same as samsung again.
And in India, most consumers are willing to pay extra for charger in box, that’s what I have learnt from online reviews, because sourcing orignal good quality chargers is challenging too because there are a lot of fakes, I remember there was this huge scandal when the official link from the nothing website redirected you to a fake charger, quite appaling right?
