Im currently using:

  1. Samsung Galaxy S22 Ultra / IPhone SE (work); I just want great spec’s. A fast phone with a big screen, because I stream alot of movies and YT content.

  2. Sony WH1000XM5 and Ear(1) ; I need good ANC because I travel alot by train and working in a loud envoirement. Also the comfort of wearing headphones or earbuds are important to me. Both are great.

  3. Samsung galaxy watch 4 classic; I love a round design watch.

  1. Nubia Red Magic 5G
  2. Red Magic Cyberpods (got them for free!)
  3. Mobvoi TicWatch E3 (I finished this challenge: https://www.androidpolice.com/2021/07/13/mobvoi-wants-to-give-you-a-free-ticwatch-e3-for-basically-just-using-it/ so it cost nothing as well!)

As mentioned in my profile, I like to use value-for-money as my defining criteria for any technology products (or anything really). The Red Magic 5G is only my second smartphone after the OnePlus One. Criteria when switching were: 5G band 78, no notch / hole punch, high refresh rate, headphone jack and NFC. This was the only phone that satisfied all of these. I think 5G, high refresh rate and NFC would still be non-negotiable for me if I were to switch. As for new features, maybe an under-display camera so I can skip the notch/cutout generation entirely and a good fast-pair wireless earbuds option if there’s no headphone jack.

Rob ⚡️ I have been using Xiaomi Mi 10T 5G for the past 1 year and 3 months. I have installed the Pixel Experience rom to get a bloatware free experience. It has been a good journey as the device has a Snapdragon 865 SoC, and it has kept it’s performance still and that’s good enough for me. So, if I do switch later, it would be to a smartphone that offers a clean, smooth and bloatware-free experience.

I currently use a wired headphone manufactured by a chi-fi company known as KZ. The model I use is almost their cheapest one called KZ ZSN pro and it punches above it’s price. The bass and treble are great, I enjoy a upbeat rhythm and they deliver on it. They are seriously underrated and they do come naked like the Nothing ear (1).

I used to wear a G-Shock back in High-Secondary but now I don’t wear any watch as it feels like extra baggage. Since, a phone can now do it’s job and it gets seriously hot during summertime making it not appealling. A seriously light-weight watch may tilt me towards wearing them again.

Rob ⚡️ I currently use the following setup:

    1. Iphone 12 Pro
    2. Airpods Pro
    3. Garmin Fenix 5

I have been an Apple supporter for a long time, but let’s face it, it was a long time since Apple did any real innovation, and all they seem to release every year is a new buggy OS and a fresh batch of Emojis.

It feels like they are pretty drained and tired, and since their main focus these days are more about the shareholders than their actual customers I’m now stoked about Nothing.

I want to see a company that focus on innovation and with the customer in mind. Without the customers there’s no one to stoke about the things that you do and too many companies seems to forget that. But in the end it’s just a question about what you love the most, what you actually do or the money it brings.

So seemless tech along with the love and respect for the people, that company can take all my money!

    Hi Rob ⚡️

    1. iPhone 12 Pro / iPhone SE 2020

    2. Jabra Elite Active 65t and AirPods Max

    3. Garmin fenix 5

Rob ⚡️ Hi! I am currently using an iPhone 12. For headphones, I am using Plantronics Focus 2 and along with airpods. I was using honor band 4 for fitness tracking

Great question! This is my gear:

    1. One plus 8 Pro

    2. Nothing ear 1

    3. Samsung smartwatch 4 clasic

    this is my set up:

    1. OnePlus 7
    2. Nothing ear 1
    3. none

i hate carrying a laptop. everything i do from home to work is synced to the cloud. it lets me keep my work at work and my home at home. but, if theres a need i can always access everything on the go from my phone. navigating across different cloud environments would be a plus and if it can let me throw up everything on my phone to a screen wirelessly and connect to a keryboard/ mouse wirelessley hahahaha i think thatd be pretty sweet!

Also, i love music and i really miss those visualisations windows media player used to do i think having an element of that that responds to the music im listening to would be fun for me

      I am currently using:

      • Samsung S21 FE
      • Iphone 12 (work phone)
      • Grado SR80e headphones (I want that headphone jack back 😀 )
      • Garmin Forerunner 735XT

I d like some hifi dac into the phone (1) just like LG did. That was a big selling point to all audiophiles that still buy used LG phones just for that DAC alone.

Ajay Also, i love music and i really miss those visualisations windows media player used to do i think having an element of that that responds to the music im listening to would be fun for

Totally agree with you there! Teenage Engineering have made some pretty sweet visualisers, so let’s hope they trickle down into Nothing products!

Rob ⚡️ hey squad! So the combo I’m currently running is iPhone 13 Pro, Apple Watch SE and Beats Fit Pro.

The design of the Phone (1) is pretty sick, the cherry on top would be if it was also modular? 👀

      1. Google Pixel 6
      2. Sony 1000XM4, Pixel Buds
      3. Galaxy Watch 4

      New Feature:

      1. Stable OS 😆 (Pixels are buggy, Samsung ecosystem is incomplete, Apple is not for me)
      2. XM4’s are superb! Anything a little compact but with all the features of xm4
      3. Aesthetics and more customizable watch.

Louis ☕️ yep, it’s been great so far (much better compared to my previous watch, a Fossil Sport). The SD Wear 4100 chipset is a huge upgrade from the 3100. Plus, both our watches get WearOS 3 as well!
