I use my Nothing Ear(1) on my laptop and my phone. Frequently I close my laptop and put it in my bag. Then as I walk away I get my phone out to connect to my Ear(1)s for a podcast/music/call on my mobile.
I go to mobile bluetooth settings and keep tapping connect to get the headphones to work. But the only way to resolve it is to get my laptop back out of my bag and disable bluetooth on there. So the Ear(1)s can now be connected. Which is rubbish if it’s raining or my laptop is at the bottom of my bag.
This could be a bluetooth limitation or hopefully some kind of config that could be exposed as an option in the nothing app. “Allow new device to boot/kick existing connected device”.
Then I can close my laptop, hit the road and connect my phone. Without having to remember turn off bluetooth first.
Happy to explain further if my description doesn’t capture the issue properly.
