If Your Skeptical of the Links, it basically is a screenshot of the setting that fixes the HDR display issue, blacks not appearing as black, mostly all the NP 2a’s Display issue should be fixed.

For the People Who dont wanna Open the link, The setting is called Disable HW Overlays in Developer Options. Make sure the turn on that setting. Also Turn on HDR playback from display settings.

I have been using 2a for about 5 months now and noticed display issues while watching videos the black colours are not accurately shown and green tint.The network is also not stable when compared to other phones of this price range

I think many users face similar issues with their 2a so, nothing should something like OnePlus did with their green line problems

We all know due to launch of 3a and 3a pro the software updates were delayed in phone 2a . I humbley request all the community members to look towards the display issue of phone 2a . Which can be perfectly corrected by display recalibration .

And yes don’t merge this with any other discussion or try give the excuses for taking to support . I hope you understand our concern kindly look towards this .

I was recently watching Severance on Apple TV+ on my nothing phone 2a (blue) and the blacks on the display looked terrible. It was literally unwatchable, all the blacks had violet tint and all the pixels were teared and looked really really bad. I’m sure that this is a software display calibration issue because as soon as I switched the device orientation to portrait, it was all normal or when I went to pip mode, all good. I just hope this issue gets fixed soon because this really degrades the device experience! 🙁

I have been a huge fan of horror and fantasy movies but after buying 2a can’t enjoy watching movies due to green and blue tint instead of black in dark scenes and black crush issue

I’m a nothing phone 2a user from India using 2a from oct2024 and still facing issues with the screen . Just try to resolve asap as it is the major thing which we’ll be looking and shows the entire functionality of the os and other things even your os is better ,

Price to spec ratio is better

Without a better display to view all these things seems unfair in my point of view

I agree that you’re a start-up but it has to mean something to an end user to consider and reconsider the brand .Everything is on you whether it might me success or failure you have to take responsibility…
