Nothing routines app??

Hey guys 👋

Does anyone else which nothing had an app similar to apple’s shortcuts app or Samsung’s modes and routines?

Before I got my phone 2a I had a Samsung and I loves customising and creating routines/automations to help me through my day. Today I wanted to create an automation on my nothing phone but didn’t find a good native way to do it, I found the best option is to make some automations through the Google home app but it doesn’t work properly and isn’t as extensive or as simple to set up as the other apps. Personally I don’t want to use 3rd party apps.

I would love to hear your thoughts on this, and would love if nothing creates their own automations app.

Personally, being a long term Samsung user, I’ve never ever really used that feature, simply didn’t see any need for it. So the same goes for my NP2.

Coldpaw personally I used it a quite a bit, to simplify everyday tasks and set automations to happen during the day or when I arrive at certain locations without me having to remember to do them myself. Basically to simplify my day.

Coldpaw that’s…. A very useful feature and that is what I’ve been looking for tirelessly through the internet….

My Pixel 6A has a setting called “Rules” which allows me to do things based on location etc. Given it’s already a part of Android, surely it can’t be hard for Nothing to implement this.

_enz the rules the other person was talking about, is not available for us, the one you’re showing is very weak compared to the rules feature.

This is the Google home app.

It allows some very basic automations, and in my experience they don’t work well.
