SudharsonJ Most likely because 2a and 2a Plus are very similar and when 2a Plus launched, it already got most of the fixed stuff right out of the box.
Nothing mentioned the legacy phones might get the camera improvements of 3a later on, so far no word has been mentioned if or when 3.1 or 3.2 will be released for existing phones.
